Wedding blogs are a bit like wedding ceremonies. Some are dull and self serving, others are engaging and entertaining.

Personally, I think blogs should be practical, easy to read and enjoyable.  If you agree with me, you might want to check out this list of my top three wedding blogs

1. Offbeat Bride

As a celebrant, I’m all about helping people to have their weddings, their way. I think we should all question why we choose to add elements to our weddings that may hold no meaning for us. Many people don’t even realise that we have so much scope to tailor our ceremonies in Australia. And whilst Offbeat Bride is actually an American wedding blog, it’s full of quirky and interesting posts on unique weddings and ideas which I love.

2. Easy Weddings

One look at their site and it’s easy to see why Easy Weddings is a mecca for Australian brides.  They’re a huge player in the Australian wedding industry and, consequently, their blog is a wealth of practical knowledge. It’s a great place to start when you’re planning a wedding.

3. Married by Josh

Josh is a Brisbane based celebrants famed for his panache and his blog is a witty and insightful perspective on wedding planning from an industry insider.

So, there you have it. The top 3 wedding blogs for brides according to me!
